Sometimes kids just ask the most pertinent questions, why?

Well the simple answer to that question is that they just are, they just want to know what’s up. Today while we were doing our weekly outreach visit at Indranagar, one of the kids was hangin till the wee end of the queue. I asked the little man if he wanted anything. He asked me why we were giving books away, I said that we were not giving them away, we are a library renting out the books for reading. But why are you are you giving them away? Well little man we truly believe that it is important for you and your friends to read, read, read and then read some more. OK, I get it. I then ask the boy to also help his friends to read (quite a few of the kids cannot read but borrow books, which is awesome in itself). He promised to read to at least two of his friends.

He then says, please bring some books on dinosaurs the next week.

We will bring some books on dinosaurs the next time around little man.
